LOVING LATELY:
I just replenished this moisturizer. If you have acne-prone skin this one is oil-free with niacinamide and ceramides which I think make a huge difference!
These are THE BEST hair-ties. They hold my hair during my runs and never make a crease!
I have been on clean beauty journey since 2016. During this time I’ve tried every clean deodorant on the market and I keep coming back to this one.
Now back to the regularly scheduled program…

Fall is here and with it comes a long list of seasonal must-dos: decorating for Halloween, visiting pumpkin patches, apple picking, and somehow managing to make it all look effortless on social media. As much as we love this cozy, pumpkin-spiced season, it can also come with a lot of pressure to do it all, especially when you have kids.
But here's the thing: fall is about slowing down, savoring the little moments, and creating memories without feeling like you have to tick every activity off a list.
So, how do we enjoy all the seasonal fun without turning it into another to-do list? Let’s talk about a few simple, stress-free ways to celebrate fall at home.
1. Simplify Your Halloween Decor
Instead of going all out with elaborate decorations, focus on a few impactful touches. A festive wreath on the door, some pumpkins on the porch, and new autum scented candles can create a cozy atmosphere without taking up your entire weekend.
2. Cozy Up with Fall Crafts
Fall crafts are a lifesaver when you’re trying to keep the kids entertained without leaving the house. Personally, I’m a big fan of painting pumpkins instead of carving them—something about toddlers and sharp objects just feels like a horror movie waiting to happen! Plus, painted pumpkins are less mess, more creativity, and you get to enjoy them even longer
3. Quick Yet Cute Snacks For Kids
Here’s a round-up of quick and easy snacks I’m making for my babes that don’t take too much extra planning:
Ghost Chocolate milk (a little more involved but still easy!)
4. Gratitude Walk In Nature
Take a family gratitude walk in nature! With Thanksgiving just around the corner, it's the perfect time to start this simple tradition. Breathe in the crisp air, admire the changing leaves (maybe even collect a few), and talk about the blessings in your life. It's a great way to connect with each other and the season.
5. Create a Fall Ritual for Your Family
The best memories aren’t always made in pumpkin patches or at fancy fall festivals—they’re often the simple moments at home. Start a weekly fall movie night with apple cider and blankets, host a backyard campfire and make s’mores or create a tradition of reading Halloween books together at night.
Let Go of the Pressure to Do It All
The truth is, you don’t need to do all the things to have a magical fall season. It’s about finding what makes you and your family feel connected and cozy without the stress. Let go of the idea that everything has to be Pinterest-perfect and give yourself permission to keep it simple.
