Hello my beautiful friends!
I don’t know about you, but there’s something about fall that just feels like the perfect time for a reset. The crisp air, the changing leaves—it's like nature itself is calling us to slow down, reflect, and get back into a routine after the whirlwind of summer.
This week, I want to focus on the things I do every fall to align with the season—and since I’m all about prioritizing my peace in style—we’re chatting how I reset my routine and my wardrobe for fall.
1. Refresh Your Space
There’s no better way to welcome fall than by cozying up your living space. I’m talking cozy bedding, throw pillows, and blankets—I’ve already added some chocolate brown accents to my bedroom, and it instantly feels like fall.
I also love bringing out minimal, muted fall decor. For me, that means neutral tones, like boucle pumpkins and subtle seasonal touches. I save the bold, Halloween-themed decor for mid-October, but for now, it's all about creating that cozy, calm vibe.
One thing I swear by is switching up the scents in my home. I’ve recently fallen in love with non-toxic pumpkin-scented candles and I just grabbed a couple of new fall fragrances for my Pura diffuser (which are high-quality, non-toxic scents extracted from natural ingredients like flowers, fruits, and wood. Plus, they're cruelty-free and free from parabens and other nasty chemicals).
2. Set New Goals
Fall always feels like a mini New Year to me. We’ve got just over three months left in the year and his is the perfect time to reflect on the goals you set earlier in the year and see how far you’ve come. Where do you need to refocus? What can you accomplish before the year ends?
This season, the kids and I have also been creating a fall bucket list—we’re talking pumpkin patches, apple picking, bonfires—all the quintessential fall activities.
3. Nourish Your Body
With the cooler weather, my body naturally craves more hearty, warming foods. I’m already pinning soup recipes like crazy and focusing on seasonal veggies to incorporate into my meals.
If you’re looking for some meal inspo, here’s a few recipes I’ve pinned:
4. Reset Your Mind
A change in season is also a great opportunity to reset your mindset and introduce new habits. Fall can be hectic with back-to-school vibes and the lead-up to the holidays, but it’s important to prioritize your mental well-being.
For me, that means carving out time for meditation and journaling each morning.
If you’re looking for a way to get started, I offer a 7-Day Guided Meditation Series that’s designed for busy women just like you. All of the meditations are under 10 minutes, so they’re easy to fit into your day. I’ll link that in the show notes as well.
Another habit I’ve added this fall is reading a daily devotional by Joyce Meyer. It’s quick, to the point, and gives me something meaningful to think about throughout the day. I like make my coffee and do my ice roller while it’s brewing. I’ve now also added reading my daily devotional to this habit stack.
5. Wardrobe Refresh
Now, you all know I can’t talk about fall without talking about fashion! This season, I’m doing my usual closet purge, donating items I didn’t wear last year, and making room for some new pieces.
Here are some key items on my wishlist this season:

There are of course two boujee items I am eyeing. I try to buy myself one key piece each season and for the last several years I’ve been focusing on classic staples I will never tire of or can pass down to my daughter Camille one day. I’m debating between the Gucci Ophidia bag and the Staud Knee-High Boots. Both are timeless, investment pieces—Decisions, decisions!
