Dressing as My Highest Self: The Fall Edit
What I Wore, Where & Why
Hello my beautiful friends,
There’s something about fall that always feels like a reset and this season, I’ve been thinking a lot about embodiment.
Not just who I want to be mentally or emotionally, but how that version of me looks, moves….and dresses.
Getting dressed isn’t superficial, it’s energetic.
When I pull on a cozy knit, slick my hair into a bun, or throw on my favorite trench, I’m not just choosing an outfit, I’m setting the tone for how I want to feel. I’m anchoring into a mood, a moment, a version of me that already exists, just waiting to be expressed.
So this season, I decided to treat getting dressed like a ritual not a routine. (I’ve also been documenting this in real time on Tiktok if you want to follow along).
Below are a few of my favorite fall looks, where I wore them and the energy I was channeling in each one.
Because sometimes the fastest way to shift your mood is to shift your outfit.
